Thats cool Bohemia, I guess.

But make your games actually run on the average computer and make better mod support. I was never able to fully enjoy the game because (even on my old 4.42ghz i7 920 and gtx 580 system) the game just ran badly.

The engine also has some MAJOR bugs that just kill it for me. Ugh.

Arma 2 o a ran fine on three screens while I was on 470 sli, but it could've been better. The engine did have major bugs. Arma 3 I figure would be the same. In my say so you can only ask so much from any company unless they had wow/blizzard resources.

The AI (not a bug, but still) made SP nearly unplayable at times.

The online servers are filled with 20 different mods each and to play on a consistent server you need to get to know the community, there is no simple plug and play.

The online gameplay mods (Mainly domination) look SUPER unprofessional and just break the game for me.

Overall, the only real fun I had in ARMA2 was doing stupid stuff (Like spawning b52s vs a hundreds of ww2 planes) or the air combat, everything else felt extremely lackluster.

The only time I had fun online was with a sniper (I was arty operator, also acting as observer) in domination.

We're heading back to the littlebird I flew over and he screams over VoIP "GET THE F DOWN HIDE DON'T MOVE" .. I said "What?" and he slowly whispers "Dude I see a bunny!" and fires. (This was after a super intense firefight and a tank hunting us, mind you. We all had a good laugh)

HOWEVER: It's a unique game and goes completely against the modern FPS stereotype of everything copying CoD. I'll be purchasing ARMA III assuming I can run it decently.

Bohemia would have many more sales if they just improved performance and accessibility (Mods being easier to use)

Up until six-updater became widespread online play was a MAJOR PITA.

Graphics are amazing. I was also impressed with the ARMA 2, but gee... the game can be so unclear sometimes when looking for objective mission locations and the lame AI, and the in game voice command... TUR-RRN --- RIGHT, FORWARD --- SPEED, ROGER.
