Droid X2 vs iPhone 4 Verizon

Thread Starter
I'm debating on upgrading from the iPhone 4 to the Droid X2.

Opinions?
iPhone 5 when ever it comes out (iPhone 4S?) will be more comparable to the Droid X2 - X2 is probably the way to go if you want something immediately that is super fast, as much as I love my iPhone 4, the new Droid is going to be worlds faster (dual core nVidia chip)

Not the best time to buy I think, some big releases are really close. Also, if your going with the droid because of androids 'openness' and hackability, that isn't the phone you should be going with(locked bootloader). I say wait just a bit longer

I'm only considering the upgrade because the Droid X2 is only $450 without a contract, and I'm sure I can sell my month old iPhone for around that price, so it would be a free upgrade.

I would much rather have the iPhone 4S, but by the time that comes out the resale value of the current iPhone's will decrease further.

Bionic is being scrapped until late summer. Don't wait, get the X2 if you are looking for Bionic-like performance without 4G.

i thought the charge was out... anyways, i want a htc, 4g, dual core, good battery, and 4in screen.

im waiting till that comes out. whether its an iphone or what, i need to use my phone and iphones since the 3g have been known for good battery life. 4g would just be awesome for when i tether, and dual core for the speed.

ios is very polished and smooth feeling, but after using it for awhile, it can get old... android is clunky and looks about like ubuntu 7 but has a lot of function... so its really preference. im prolly going with the next big htc android that fits those things i listed

I would hold off until the iPhone 4S.

I love my iPhone 4. It's easy to use. Great music player, quick and I can get my exchange emails without any hassle. It just works. But overall it comes down to preference.

Oh. Did I mention all the hundreds of thousands of apps
