I am sure someone will make an extension for that, or a simple on off button on the bar....wait....if there is no address bar where will my extension buttons go?!?

Oh look, one more thing Opera has been able to do since day 1. Google is catching up, slowly

Why does it look like there is an address bar of sorts in that screenshot....it says overclock.net centered right under the tabs...

EDIT: You might enjoy "wide view" on OCN...its at the bottom left of the page here. Default is "fixed view" and causes you to not see wide screen format for the posts. AKA unused blue space to the left of the posts.

Because I was in edit mode...

You can click that little center tab and then edit the display properties, "display when needed" = autohide.

I hate wide view.

Not everyone really enjoys it. Makes reading annoying.

I personally hate the wasted space. But then that is why I said he "might" enjoy wide view. He is new to posting on this site so I figured I'd throw him a bone just in case

Back on topic: I'd also enjoy it if it autohid the bar like the task bar in windows.

Yeah. My display has enough vertical space (2048x1536) and I don't enjoy reading the full length of the display through text. Makes my eyes hurt, and makes reading slower since I lose track of my lines at some points.

I'd use it. But only if it were to appear whenever the URL changed at least for several seconds, that way I know whats going on.

Google, if you are trying to save pixles PLEASE make an auto-hide feature for the download bar. It is HUGE and I hate having to close it every time
