Coolest budget cases

Thread Starter
I am planning rig and am interested in your opinions on cases.

The case I have always loved and will most likely get is the Cooler Master 690-II, not sure about basic or advanced. I really like that its fairly low jey but provides great cooling.

I am also wondering if there are any cases cheaper than this that can provide the same level of cooling for an overclocked CPU, and 1 high end GPU like a 6950/560.

Thanks

PS - I am in the UK (for pricing purposes )

IMO you cant beat the 690 II basic for cooling and price. The Fractal Design R3 is a really nice case but it is slightly higher price then the CM 690 II. Doesn't offer as many options for cooling as the 690 either.

Forgot to mention the CM 690 II. I would go basic unless you want a hot swap bay.

The NZXT Gamma and Rosewill Challenger are actually decent $50 and under cases.

Guess I will probably end up going with 690 II, I do love it

And I don't need the hot swap bay so the basic version will drop some more of the price off. I will also look at the bitfenix too

Thermaltake V3, is an awesome case with black interior and good cooling options looks good, but cheap on build quality, also CM elite 310 not bad either less options for cooling rather than the v3 i have a youtube vid u can check out........type JLumbs thermaltake V3
If i had to choose i would go V3 for the cheapey cheapeys

BTW those cases are REALLY cheap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This. Not terrible, very basic but has all the important features, IMO. Took me almost an hour to figure out that the hard drive mounts don't actually attach to the hard drive and you just have to hold them in place, though...
