If it's like any normal DVD drive that comes in a laptop.
Just buy one like this
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/LG-Super-Multi-Blu-ray-Combo-CT21N/dp/B003E91KM6/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1305833432&sr=1-1"]Amazon.com: LG Super-Multi Slim Blu-ray Combo Drive CT21N - Bulk: Electronics[/ame]

And pop it in and download drivers.

Not that I know of, you'd have to purchase that separate.
But Dell's usually come with some sort of DVD/Bluray playback software.
Check the Dell Drivers site.

That Dell has the angled face plate to match the side of the casing, not the flat square normal faceplate.

Just noticed that, could you take off the faceplate? I know on my brothers. It looks like it's removable.

You may want to pull it out and check the thickness of the optical drive. I'm sure it's slimline SATA and should be 12.7mm thick. Some are 9.5mm, but I don't think you have that. Sometimes the bezel faceplate can be transferred from drive to drive, but thats not always the case. You need something like these i believe:

Yeah, some can swap, but its not 100% all the time. I did that with my Levovo A700. I needed a slot load drive, so I swapped the stock DVD burner drive with the BluRay burner drive I purchased. It fits, but doesn't feel as solid. Mine was a clip on bezel.
