Hey all,

you know how when you search for something on google, it shows you your city/state location on the left hand side of the screen. Well, i just noticed that today when i was searching on google, that the city location was different then what it usuallly is. its still in the general area but it changed to a different city.

i checked my ip address and its still the same as before the city location changed. so why did the city location change?

Go here
www.ip-adress.com/ip_tracer/

Then check you ip and click on the map where it shows your location. See what it says.

I already know what my WAN IP Address is. I'm asking why my City location changed in Google Search(left hand side) when my WAN IP Address(given to me by my ISP), is still the same.

It use to always say the same city in Google Search, but now it shows a different city. Its still close to where I live, I want to know why my city in Google Search changed by itself.

Then just clear your cookies. That site got a map where it shows your ips location on a map. But you didn't go look now did you.

Clean all your cookies. At least your not getting google in German like I do lol
