Thread Starter
Hi everyone, i'm new at the forum and new to overclok. Well i have the p5n32e motherboard from asus and it has phoenix bios so there is the overclock option. i put it to 20% (the max) and it gives me 3.20ghz.
Still i want much more. i recently bought a cooler (Gemini II from cooler master) and my temps are 39/45 ºC.

the print is there i gess i put it on attachments.

so Vcore 1.312
memory 5-5-5-15
all the rest is auto.
please help me improve.

you are going to need a higher multiplier, and since intel locks their processor multipliers down pretty hard, that is impossible without getting another processor. Also, that is a 65nm processor, you are pretty near the limit for them anyways.

the thing is i want to use emulators like ps2 and wii and they lag a bit but when i had the cpu to 3.30 it was 100%.
When i did manual i had fsb 1650 linked. if i unliked and put the ratio to 1:1 the pc didn't boot at all. i changed the Vcore but nothing diferent.
When it was 3.30ghz i was playing the wii emu and the computer just freezes.

I could get into windows at 4.0GHZ on my old E6750, that was on about 1.5V, I had cool my north bridge more than the CPU to make it behave! (£40 nforce 650i ultra) 3.8ghz was 24/7 stable, cant remember what voltage I used tho. Don't forget to unlink your ram and FSB, else that will hold you back very early on.

Not sure why I'm using the windows thingy in this screen shot.

Dump it straight up to at least 3.8ghz if your feeling lucky, my old Board had an FPS hole between 3.4~ and 3.8ghz, as in it wouldn't even POST in that space, so I just slammed it up to 3.8 and tada! windows loaded.

And whats this about you crashing when you unlink the FSB to your RAM? unless you have some really super high end stuff, then i doubt standard DDR 2 at 667mhz likes to more than a few mhz away from that, so fiddle around till you unlink them else you wont get far! =)

Never was able to get very high clocks with my old 6750, I think my 24/7 was around 3.1-3.2 Ghz.
