this ^^

I recently opened my ps3 up to clean it out. The fan would start getting real loud when watching netflix or just idling. There was enough dust in there to build myself another cat. After cleaning it out it doesn't sound like a jet engine anymore. It seems like whenever sony outs an updated firmware people claim foul.

After PSN, Overheating!

Sounds like a terrible console, just quit consoles and play PC.

Problem solved...NVMBADPORTS.

I own an original PS3, last week I opened it up cleaned it out and applied new thermal paste. The old paste was hard as a rock and just chipped right off. It's staying cool and quiet playing LA Noire. I recommend doing this if you own an older unit.. or even if it isn't, MX-2,3,4 makes a big difference with temps on these things.

Yeah, I'm sure they didn't test the game on any PS3s before releasing it

Yup, you're right, why bother testing a game it only wastes money.

Let the consumer do it!!!!!111!!
