ASUS EAH69XX DCII + 3DFullHD = FAIL. Alternatives.

I'm leaning for an ATI GPU, since nvidia current hassle with proper perfect 23.976Hz output. And looking for the quietest HD6950 available possible, I was advised for the ASUS DirectCUII cooled one,

But carefully looking at specs, I saw theres no HDMI out, just DisplayPorts. Actually have a 3D tv and would like to eventually use it to stream 3DFullHD (3D@1080p24) video to my tv with HDMI 1.4 inputs. Im well aware of DisplayPort 1.2 is 3DFullHD capable, but the only way I know is FramePacking, which is only HDMI 1.4 compliant.

Theres so, at present, no way -of my known- to deliver FullHD3D video signal from this cards to actual 3D tvs. Otherwise please someone enlight me on how to.

Well so, moving on, Im looking for the cold/quietest HD6950 available next to the ASUS DirectCUII. No OC needed BTW. I think that one is the SAPPHIRE FleX edition,

Any thoughts are very welcome

Or you could get the MSI Twin Frorz III or II, they're both very quiet and run pretty cool from my own experiences.

out of curiousity, why does it have to be such a powerful card?

all 6k series cards can do 3d

if you are using it for more then a htpc i completely understand, but just making you aware that you don't need a card that beefy for 3d video playback

other then that, even refeerence cards are pretty quiet at auto settings, and video playback does not heat them up enough to really kick the fan into audible

Can you confirm MSI TwinFrozrIII to be quieter than Vapor-X FleX from SAPPHIRE?

But thats not the goal, thats the case I wouldn't go with this card obviously. As I said I just want to have the option to use it for movies and 3D to my tv eventually. Im gonna use it for gaming, but if Im buying a new card, why would I want to give up with this other secondary aspects, specially when I have a 3Dtv and no bluray player or any other device to play and watch eventually 3D content?

Thanks for suggestions anyway
