Thread Starter

These are the parts I think are best bang for buck.
If you have any other alternative suggestions(Such as different parts or different vendors) please comment.

I5 - 2500k
Amazon
225$

CPU cooler

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
30$
Amazon

RAM RAM
Corsair Vengeance 4 GB PC3-12800 1600mHz
55$
Amazon

HDD HDD
Samsung Desktop Class Spinpoint F3 1 TB
Amazon

ASUS VH238H 23-Inch LED Monitor
176$
Amazon

Should i go with instead?

Motherboard
ASRock P67 EXTREME4 (B3)
160$
Newegg

I Already have a EVGA 470GTX SC. And a 750W inwin PSU. And a EATX casing. I plan to overclock on air. So are my choices good? is there anything i should reconsider? Thanks for your responses.

My main concerns now are the monitor and the motherboard.

I love my Extreme4; as do many other Extreme4 owners. ASRock seems to be making solid products lately

Well i dont plan to use a SSD. I dont think the higher price tags or the bugs bundled with the new version is worth it. Or am i just stupid?

Your build is great and you should have a nice overlock w/ Hyper 212+.

While I don't see any reason to switch from p67 to z68, if I was building a new computer today I would definitely go with z68.

But z68 are higher on the price arent they? I have no plan to do encoding or use a ssd. Coz as far as i get ssd will only improve on loading times right? I dont mind waiting a couple seconds for my game to load.
