Getting the ASUS Rampage III Black Edition. Should I do Sata II or Sata III?

Thread Starter
I am getting the ASUS Rampage III Black Edition and have 4 ssd drives. I am in Raid 0 with three drives on my current motherboard. My question, is should I raid two of them in Sata II (my hard drives are the 256GB C300) or should I put all 4 in Sata III? Since there are only two Sata III ports on this, is it possible to do two on Sata II and two on Sata III? Thanks!

Might want to check your title,

and is there a speed difference between Sata II/III with you SSDs?

Well with a SSD I don't think the speed dip will matter all that much since they are already damn fast.

Go Sata II and call it a day.

It wouldn't be worth it for the trouble. The third party SATA III controllers are crap.
