Gigabyte P67X-UD3-B3 Won't Stay On OverClock Upon Shutdown/Startup

I have the above board and have had nothing but issues with it.

I first updated the bios to F4...done

Then while trying to find a stable OC and BSOD'ing, it would just continously turn off and on until I cut the total power line. Then it would re-write itself on startup to the original F2 bios, and I would have to start all over.

After dealing with that ****, I finally got a stable OC on prime. then I shut down the PC. Upon power on, it will reset to factory clocks EVERY TIME...

Ideas??

Also in games with my sli, the screen constantly flashes black. I checked the sli bridge, all my drivers are current... IDK, I think I may have got a bad board...

why on earth did you buy a ud3? it is known to have those issues . mines just died a few days ago for second time. i used to have the same problem. reboot loop is very common on this board, and one day it's gonna do 1 sec reboot loop cycle like mines. IT happened 2 times already. If your board hasn't already died, just sell it and get a new one that doesn't have this issue

It just means your OC was not stable. How long did you run Prime and was it small ftt's large or blend?

I know it was in a loop, that just meant it was unstable and the BIOS was trying to loop to the backup BIOS. If it is too unstable it won't read it unless you kill the power and clear the CMOS.

Wick,
Did you try flashing the backup BIOS so it matches the main BIOS? To do that, after the main has been flashed, and you have done at least one successful boot, you hold down alt and f12 BEFORE you see the CPU post screen, and it should freeze on the memory count and flash the bios.

This should stop most of the boot loops.

Are you using PLL internal overvoltage? That might be required at the clocks you're trying...trying to exceed the internal frequency wall without PLL overvoltage *will* cause a failed overclock.
