Can someone please tell me why!

...Why I get black "square" artifacts in battlefield BC2 with my X-fire 4890's!?

The max load temps go up to 90° on the top card; around 70-80 on the bottom card. Huge difference.

They been showing up since the 10.x driver updates...now there on 11.5 drivers..SAME THING...not as bad though....

Am I just screwed or what the hell? I have a nice case, NZXT Tempest Evo, have worked hours on the cable management. I EVEN removed the case stock fans and put in 80CFM Antec Tri-cool 120mm fans all over. So a total of (4) 120mm antec tri-cools with (2) 140mm on top.

The hell? I NEVER get artifacts on any other game (i.e. call of duty, WoW).

Even disabling crossfire, I get a few artifacts with a single card....

I just need to know if I'm screwed or if it's ATI or *** so I can just give it up, I've been searching for an answer for 1year...

Your temps are too high IMO. Set up a good cooling profile in MSI's AfterBurner. Your goal is to keep the cards BELOW 75C. With the proper cooling profile, the fans should never exceed 70%. If I can keep my reference 4870's below 73C at 100% load, then your Vapor X should easily be able to do this.

If it still artifacts even after having it stay below 75C, then it's RMA time.

Have you checked both cards? You said that a single card still showed artifacts, but I'd test both of the cards to figure out if it's just that one or possibly both. Also check for artifacts in other programs.
