coupons and savings codes made it $175, and i like the x4 series a lot so i decided y not ... i actualy ran both my comp and my server off it at one time using a split 24 pin connector ... it was prity awsome except for the fact that since the cases were mouth to mouth it was prity much a space heater

Ok, deal braker =(. Ive found out that the GTX580 doesn't have a mini display port output and I have the 27' inch apple display which ONLY takes mini display port. BTW the adapter is 200 dollars.

So any ATI suggestions?

Could I get a pair of hd 6970 right? Everything is compatible?

That's a display port Apple's a mini display port. I think they use a different technology cause the other one is $150 and it's much bigger.

You should definitely look into that and find out if it's true. That would save you from having to change your build. And could you post a link of the adapter your looking at?

I have the Gigabyte OC 570, that thing will run everything you need it to run and then some and it has the mini HDMI, their OC 580 might as well

Looks like a great (albeit expensive) build! 1200W is unnecessary unless you plan on getting at least two more GTX 580's down the line. Of course some will say just get the 2500k but if you have the cash, the 2600k is faster (even in gaming). Just not by much. The Corsair Vengeance is a great choice in memory!

Its gonna be a fun build, just make sure you have a good step-by-step guide and follow it closely. You don't want to forget to plug in the 8-pin cpu power cable and then panic when it doesn't post!
