Palm Pre 2

Thread Starter
Hello everyone,

I recently got to try out my friend's Palm Pre 2 for a little while, and I was impressed. I am considering investing in one myself. I know it is not a popular device, but does anybody that has it tell me how it is long-term?

Thanks,
Chocolate

I was thinking of getting a Palm Pre myself a while ago, I think it's quite nifty.
Not to mention it runs on Linux so that's pretty awesome.

I'm personally looking at the HP Pre3.

The downfall? iOS and upcoming Android.
The OS on the Pre is amazing, but it's not on the right device.
The hardware is the biggest killer of the OS.

Not enough support as well. Apple dominates the iTunes, App Store and accessories market, while Google commands multiple handset manufacturers like Samsung, Motorola and HTC.

True. To be honest, I wish that the hardware was more robust. But there isn't much you can do about that. Though HP is pushing WebOS to tablets etc. But I don't know if that will be able to sustain them.
