it's sad to say but your chip might have been degraded a bit due to it running at 1.5-1.6V for such a prolonged period of time. just curious but exactly how long did you run it at 1.5-1.6V?

For what it's worth - i was booting @ 1.7v before i knew what i was doing lol.

Was very scary but i don't think it degraded my chip (knocks on wood).

Seems that getting 4.8ghz or above off low volts is for 'Golden Chips' only tbh!

I would love 5ghz but if it's not feasable then there's no point pushing a chip past what it can already do. 4.6ghz does me good for 90% of all my needs anyway.

not that long i've only had this comp for a few weeks at it would have only been that high for like 4-5 hours a day maybe for like a week or two. i don't think it's that.

Yeah I know what you're saying. My chip can do 5GHz at 1.44V, but I see no sense at running it at that speeds 24/7. The added heat, electricity, etc. far outweigh the added performance. I run mine at 4.4GHz with ultra low volts for 24/7 usage and I haven't notice any slowdowns.

Well I guess I didn't get a "golden" chip, but its still probably around average I think.

Testing with LinX using only 772 MB of memory is useless. Click the all button next to memory to actually test for stability and utilize all available RAM.

I was just running 4.6Ghz @ 1.400v and I got a BSOD with maybe 60% load. I was stress testing it earlier and it was fine at 100%. Is something wrong with my chip? My temps are max high 60's at 4.6 with an NH-D14.

Are you using 4 sticks of RAM? If so, what is your VCCIO set to?

Also, have you enabled PLL overvoltage yet?
