I'm not sure that I'd want it more like Origins. DA:O was nothing more than yet another product of the "Bioware Formula." It was an enjoyable game, but it really didn't give us anything that hadn't already been done in most of Bioware's other games. DA2 had a lot of flaws. I'm sorry. What I meant to say is that DA2 had A Lot Of Flaws. Despite that, the game represented a break from the usual "You, the specially chosen X must find the Y in order to stop the Z. And I think that this is a good thing, despite the unpolished result of that attempt.
I say take what they did in DA2 and then add in the things that worked better from DA:O (such as the tactical combat camera). Combat pace should be somewhere between the two extremes the previous games offered (DA2 was too frantic, but DA:O looked like everyone was fighting underwater). Certainly, the environments need more diversity. But I would hesitate to say that DA2 should be disregarded entirely.
