I would assume v7 should be the fastest for Ubuntu now, if you can get it to work.
Sadly I do not have a guide for it, but it should be 90% the same as this one.

Complete v7 guide for Windows
Once you get past the installation everything else should be the same.

Yea but that is only for CPU I think, v7 is for both.

We have the v6 GPU Guide and v6 CPU guide as well.
Though folding GPUs under linux is hell...

Do you have to use 11.04? I'm on Ubuntu 10.10 and it folds perfectly fine.

Download v7 client then install it (You shouldn't use "Ubuntu Software Center" for it because it told me that the file is corrupted)
After you installed v7 client you can follow the guide on how to set up the client. wink.gif
