I have had two of these fail in the last 5 months. What wired gigabit router should I replace it with. All of my computers have gigabit connections, all my cables are CAT6, and I have 30MB (not Mb) down connection. I want router that will work for more than 2 months, preferably.

Why do you even have the router? If all your stuff is wired and depending on what modem you have you might be able to just buy a switch.

I agree with mrx00

A netgear gs108 would do you good.

Btw what company is providing your 30 MB/s connection.

Modem is a Motorola SB6120. I thought I needed a router for all the security crap or whatever. Should I just get an 8 port switch?

edit- I don't recall who the ISP is, it's a business expense, the accountant gets the bills. If it's important I can find out.

edited edit- I think that's aggregate too, I have never seen faster than 8MB/s down.
