Ok guys I finally fixed Witcher 2 to work with SLI, but you have to make sure you run the GoG edition.

I own the D2D edition fully activated and registered, then I replaced witcher2.exe and paul.dll with the GoG edition and now I get about 50 - ish in flotsam!

Does this game really need that much power??? Single should be just fine at max settings, right?

Screw this game, I will never buy another CD Projekt game ever again.

Most PC games on release require an Nvidia/ATI driver update or game patch to run optimally, especially for SLI/CrossFire.

Not all games are created equal. This game does require a lot of power if you want the best video settings. However, UberSampling is the biggest draw and for most people with high-end single cards disabling it will make the game very playable.
Quote:
Ubersampling: high quality rendering mode under which whole scenes are rendered multiple times to provide the best possible textures, object details and anti-aliasing (superior to anti-alias and anisotropy even on the highest settings). Use with caution, only on top-end computers (best possible in terms of both GPU and CPU).

Ubersampling enables a high level of Supersampling AA so your card basically renders a single frame multiple times. A single GTX 580 might a have hard dealing with that. It also seems to enable some outrageous AF.

I downloaded Nvidia inspector, but it does not have the compatibility option. Is there some way i can enable it or something?
