Why would they have a 4-core called Zambezi?
That would have an entirely different codename.
There will be a 4, 6, two 8 core bulldozers. Zambezi is the name of the 2 core module if I am not mistaken. Orochi would refer to the the 8 core model specifically.

As for the TDPs... dunno

So around £140 for the Quad Core, £192 for the Hexa and £243 for the Octo, give-or-take.

Can't wait 'til real world performance figures comes out, I definitely wanna step into Hexa core territory at least, plus it shares the same amount of Cache as the Hexa.

Pretty excited to see AMD's new offering in the Processor market. They have always been a great source for cheap, high performing processing units. I have been waiting very impatiently for this launch to happen, holding off a new PC just to see how this pans out.

If AMD can beat out the 2500 with better performance per dollar, then I won't have to defect to the dark side..I mean Intel lol.

What are the differences? I'm going to go with the 8110 if the 8130P is just a higher clock speed.

Those are some awesome prices. Once Bulldozer gets fusion integrated, it's going to murder Intel's offerings.

Trouble is, that is not how the processor market works.

Who ever has the fastest CPU has the leverage for the entire product line. Thus why the AMD CPU's for the last few years have been in the $300 and under range. Pre-Intel Conroe AMD's top end were right up there with the Intel's at $999 (and beat the Intel chips quite handily).

So either AMD is going to price them low and force Intel to change their whole line up's pricing, or AMD knows they cannot compete with the Intel chips and has to price their chips according to where they perform in regards to Intel's lineup. Either way it should be a very interesting introduction!
