it seems theres a lot of peeps returning the black widow so right now i think ill prob stick with the anansi... at least until i can get one of the more recommended mechanical keyboards...

to those with the anansi how do the thumb keys feel? do you guys use them alot or as much as you thought you would?

I had the blackwidow and I've been not pleased with it in more then one way.
Actually the Anansi seems pretty interesting to me. Youtube got some unboxing of it.

Hmm seems like after the first batchs of black widows they went down hill.

Mine is the preorder bw ut first batch and it still going strong with no problems at all which i had it sense preorder which is like 6months.

Still looks good too and feels the same as when it was new, Little shiny on the keys but that's normal for any keyboard but my black widow ut is standing up better than any other keyboard.

And yes i game alot so it gets used alot:)

Hopefully i wont have too rma it never.

My Black Widow Ultimate has been a great keyboard.. Seems they are very hit and miss tho. I understand there have been problems. Just piping up so people know they arent all teh suck .

I recommend anybody here ignore all the OCN Razer Hate threads and look at Newegg reviews (better than Amazon's shilling ones).

4/5 eggs for the BlackWidow Ultimate.

Sounds about right.

But then the Xarmor is 5/5. That looks distinctly wrong. However with only 4 reviews (probably all Xarmor reps) it's not a statistically significant result.

A comment like that without following it up with why you think it's not a good product is unproductive and carries less weight than someone giving advice who owns the product by experience.

I'm an adult with kids and I love my Razer products. Highly acclaimed company with solid qaulity products in my opinion.

The Razer Anasi is a great keyboard for me, very responsive and as I stated in my previous post after actual usage. I also gave input on the Blackwidow I owned briefly.

I also like my wireless/wired Razer Mamba mouse, best mouse I've ever owned for many reasons but I'd be off topic by listing them.

Razer is a good product, the lights are not just for cosmetics when your in a dark room at night, very useful.

I could care less about the leds and the snake lol. That's not why i bought it in the first place, I hardy even use the backlit, I bought the ut for the extra usb and for less key wear sense the letters wont come off.

Like i said had mine for 6months with no problems at all so there is good black widow keyboards out there.

Heck the same with my xarmor first batch no problems but i like how the black widow feels and feels more solid which why i been using the black widow as my main keyboard.

My xarmor is still getting use tho which i have it on my server.

Pretty much the same happening with puretrak valor mouse right now because some having problems with build quality and shape they pretty much sayings its a bad product but my valor don't have any problems which im sure alot of them don't have problems but they bashing that alot, And the sensor does have some problems but its no problems sense those will be fix in a firmware update.

No company is perfect they all have there bad batch's and what not.
