I'm gonna OC it to 2.8GHz since it boasts a BigTyphoon, and when it dies, I'll change it.

He does little gaming, so that processor is fine.

Yes, my girlfriends X3 8650 and 8800 GTS rape GTAIV on medium settings. To be honest when I watch her play on her setup I dont notice a big difference between my setup and I have everything on very high and maxed out.

why? the performance is quite similar to the Phenom II X4 at the same clock, the trouble is, many Phenoms can't pass 2.5ghz or something, and the best ones can barely reach 3ghz, but anyway, for basic gaming and general usage it's enough,
the B2 (xx00) Phenoms have the "TLB errata", which in reality don't affect home users, BUT the fix released for it destroys the performance, so if you have a Phenom 9x00, 8x00 always try to disable this software/bios fix,

I'm sure it does fine with light gaming.
I was kind of saying "sell it".
