Radeon HD 6870 500w?

I just got this graphics card but it explains i need a 500w power supply. (mine is 450w)
Is this a must have to run the card or just a guide line, if so can anyone recommend a good, low price 500w power supply i can buy?

EDIT:

It's GENERIC TRASH. Don't risk it with your system.

Grab a 40 dollar 450 watt Antec Earthwatts.

a 6870 system only draws 350 watts max, but i doubt that piece of trash could hold 250.

yes. you NEED to buy a new psu right now, dont even bother to use that with your current psu. bad things are going to happen, im sure of it. Buy a quality 430W PSU. It should be enough to handle your rig.

Both are nice.
