MSI GTX 560 Ti TF II vs MSI R6950 TF II - Page 6

As I've been planning on getting the MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti Twin FrozR II OC 1GB GDDR5 for a few months I'd also like to know where to get it lower than £185.

If you're self employed and get VAT off then you're sorted as it's £157, but neigh, I am not.

I can only assume it's because it's limited stock, you got a "bargain" or it is stolen/fell off the back of a truck

EDIT: Found a great deal I believe: Novatech MSI N560 GTX560ti for £160

Too good to be true?

Still not seeing how 2gb vram is necessary unless you're texture modding like crazy or uh.. benchmarking crysis warhead apparently.

560ti TFII = good cooling, almost equal performance, 1gb vram instead of 2gb.. then there's also folding and physX if those are your thing..

6950 1gb = great deal if you prefer amd and dont need the vram, 2gb if you really think it's necessary.

Roll the dice, both cards are great. I was in your position a month ago and it just came down to wanting to try the other team [came from a 5770].

No need to start arguments about brand preference, guys.. grow up a little.

By the way LOL @ people posting 1920x1200 benchmarks. completely irrelevant to OP..

at 1080 specifically the cards trade blows. within 4-5% or a few fps of each other. I'll find the relative 1080 graph and edit.

EDIT: even edges it out by 2% at 1900x1200. Again, cards are so close it really is a coin flip. whatever OP prefers.

Yeah Im thinking i might just grab crysis 2 evga card cause its like 15$ more and it has a game. so epic win. $265 for a nice graphics card and crysis 2 can't beat it.

Damn. That is way better than my 6950 Twin Frozr III deal @ £189.

Cancelled that order and time to purchase the 560 instead! Performance difference between the two is NEGLIGIBLE. So I may as well save the money.
absolutely no need for 2gb of VRAM @ 1080p

I got this bundle for my second GTX 560Ti and its great. Its also the SC version of the card so the game is basically free....

i'd upgrade to the 560ti hawk its factory overclocked like nuts its super cool and it still runs on less power than the 6950 but they both have strengths and weaknesses depending on the games you want to play http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...-review-9.html go to review contents in the top right corner for other games.
