MSI GTX 560 Ti TF II vs MSI R6950 TF II - Page 7

I have both cards. After running both the 6950 won out so I ended up getting one more. The 560ti is in my other PC pretty much as a back up machine running a single LG 47"

The 6950's are in my main rig:

This is a review of the new GTX 560, not Ti. The Hawk (or Twin Frozr II 560 Ti for that matter) will outperform this card by a good bit.

@OP: I see this predicament quite literally at least once a day. People always debate these two cards, and there's just no clear answer. I personally own the 560 Ti Hawk and love it, but what it really comes down to is your personal developer preference, and there's not much way to determine that other than using both ATI and Nvidia cards. But rest assured that whatever you do, you'll be making a good purchase. Both cards are really great for the money, and you'd be happy with either.

Best of luck with your decision.

Having the 4gb (2gb per card) onboard ends up performing better for the resolutions I play in; often @ 5960 x 1080. You have the ram readily availible for the cards to direct compute with. After Test & Evaluation and plenty of money dropped I am sticking with the ATI aolution for now. For the money you can't go wrong in the end. Hard to say that since I am a huge Nvidia fan at heart.
