I saw that review, I think. It was a 5:4 dell and bulletstorm? Always best to be specific about these things.
no it was about 15 games that was done with different methods. One was with a special controller and the screen latency wasnt the issue. The issue was why are certain games latency so high and some aint? it was 4 to 5 times bigger than a lcd have. People think all that latency is the screen and that is WRONG! Thats my point.

In the LCD department, no TV can do actual 240hz. I'm not sure about 120hz, but I know at least ALMOST all TVs are fake 120hz.

With plasmas, even though they are 600hz, they only accept 60hz input, and thus are 60hz.

No. It's not wrong. It's partly wrong, but not fully. Both count.

yes both count. But 200 to 300 against 50? Why are we blaming the lcds. Shouldnt we start blaming the **** console ports instead? After all most of them look like horse ****. Terrible latency

I haven't played any game on the PC with THAT kind of latency.

The worst I've played is BC2, and even that is not latency, but mouse smoothing crap.

But, I don't play many different games. I stick to the ones I like.

I was running the worst dual athlon at the time. The athlon 64 x2 3800+. Clocked at an amazing 2ghz. That combined with a 5770.

Yeaah. I would've gotten a slob of a game like that why? No thanks.

I'll have to respectfully disagree. I went from an LCD to an LED monitor and almost everything about it is better. It gets a lot brighter (as bright as my old CRT's), the colors are better and so on.

Now this is interesting. So you're saying that even though plasma's have HDMI inputs, they will only accept a 60Hz signal?

Do you have any links to more information about the refresh rates of monitors/tv's; LCD, plasma, LED?

They are E-peen games. People use to them to brag in forums how many fps they get on it with their hardware. Personally bad ports shouldn't be supported let them go broke and out of business will teach them not to make such junk.
