IMO there is something wrong with 60hz. The low refresh rate. Feels like crap playing fast paced games.

On the other hand, the 120hz LCDs I looked at were all much more expensive, so I'm a bit perplexed as to how the price point comparison is between an LED and a 120hz at the same size. If I could have gotten a regular 120hz LCD for I certainly would have.
Thank you

i know, i know, im mainly after a 24'' because i have 1 now and would feel weired going small + a 21.5'' would be rather small to see from my bed when watching movies , its around 4 meters away from my head when im layed down, i only seem to like monitors that are 1920x1080 or higher, but these 2 monitors are 1920x1080

I picked this monitor up:

It completely kicks ass. I only notice a difference for FPS games. The ONLY problem is that you'll play an old game with 120 fps, and then player a newer game and be a little bit salty at the lack of 120 fps.

Now I am just going off what I noticed at best buy but from what I seen, the LED LCD's had much better blacks.
The thing is, they can make 120hz LCD's stats so jacked, like 2.7MS and crazy native contrast ratios, they look great themself.

LG makes a 60" 120hz 1080P LCD I have my eye on.

Lol wha?
60hz has nothing to do with how smooth a game runs, 60 solid fps is no different visually then 90 or 120.

nope that's wrong. disable vsync if your fps is not high. Vsync you only use when your gpu manages to spit frames out higher than the refresh
An LCD monitor on the other hand does not have to go through a repetitive cycle of constantly blanking and refreshing itself many times per second like a CRT monitor. So looking at an image on an LCD monitor is like looking at an image on a piece of paper. The concept of refresh rate does not apply in the same way, at least for the purposes of flickering. So if the frame rate is low it will be easily to able manage it without you seeing it. Vsync got a problem it drop the frame rate half the refresh sometimes

60hz is not fps your right. Fps is how fast your gpu can spit out images. 60hz is how quickly the on screen image can be fully 'refreshed' with a new image.

Games, Windows and your graphics card are all still designed around composing individual frames in the frame buffer, and sending these whole frames to your monitor one by one, with the timing for buffer flipping typically based on Vertical Blank Intervals - all things which were required for CRT monitors. So LCD panels have to try to operate on the same way, despite the fact that they don't have the same physical limitations of a CRT.

i personally dont think it would look right :/ different refresh rates + in games you will only be able to get 60fps because the 2 60hz monitors wont be able to handle 120hz, so idealy, might aswell go with 3 60hz monitors rather then your suggestion nice thinking tho
