I am looking to do eyefinity with 3 monitors and i will be buying them the same time i buy the rest of the parts for my next Gaming Build, i have currently got around half the parts

the next rig will be:
- Phenom II 1090T
- 890FXA-UD7
- Vertex 2e 60gb SSD
- 2x Samsung F3 1TB in raid 0
- H70
- 6970 2gb, soon crossfire and later on maybe another 1 to make 3 or maybe 4
- Silverstone Strider 1000w Modular
- HAF X

this should be built in around a week, 2 weeks MAX. i would say

yes i do like overkill, but nothing is overkill on OCN

i will be keeping this computer for around 6 months like i have computers for the last 2 years and then selling and building a bulldozer build

but i will not be selling the monitors, so i need the right monitor for me and the best i can get because the eyefinity should be with me for around a year

yes, i like selling stuff, dont question it rofl XD

[EDIT] that sounded a bit bossy and stuff dint it :/ sorry

for a normal monitor i have found a few i like and what are good on reviews for around £100 after offers and all that stuff

but for a 120hz monitor i would happily sacrifice somthing in my computer to pay the extra 3150 for 3 of them as i am willing to pay around £150 each but could posibly, but wouldent like to, go to 3170!

the 120hz i was going to get and its a 23'' not a 24:/ sorry lol im sure it is a 23.6'' tho but scan says 23'', i will look it up

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/23-lg...1-400cd-m2-5ms

On today only it is avaliable for £155

Gaming96.

[EDIT] i would love that monitor but 200+ for each monitor for a 15 year old is to much right now lol i got to make all this money you know rofl not one penny from parents

One quick question, are all 120hz screens made for 3d, or selected ones have 3d? no reason lol, just wondering

you mean Stereoscopic 3d? 3d is normal gaming btw 2d is your desktop etc.

No. As you can see in above replies what the hz really means. It has to be 3d certified and you need the 3d kit which cost as much as the monitor if not more lol. 3d a 60hz image gets created for the right eye and a 60hz on for the left.
If your not going to get a nvidia card then you don't have to bother bout it really

LCDs that uses interpolation cannot do 3D.
Not so sure bout 3d certified thing someone else maybe can clear that part up

if i remeber correctly its only selected ones that can have 3d, i think has to do with how the monitor processes the image? i think i read somewhere ..

but with 3d you will get two 60hz images one for the left and one for the right eye (thus the reason why frame rate is cut in half) but your 2gb vram will also help with eyefinity
