Hello all,
I'm trying to decide which P67 board to get. I do not think that Z68's price premium is worth its features, so please don't tell me to go for Z68 :S
I just want to know which of these 2 board is better, or if there are any better ones for around the same price.
ASRock Extreme6 P67 B3 vs
ASUS Sabertooth P67 B3

What am I looking for?:
·Durability
·Stability
·Reliability
·Good gaming performance

What will I use it for?
·Gaming
·Design
·Web Design
·Office

What will I use it with?
i7-2600k
Corsair H70
GTX 480 Windforce3 / MSI 570 Twin Frozr (If you can convince me the 40€ more are worth it ^^)
HAF-X
G SKILL RAM

I want it to last me at least 4 years.

Thanks in advance.

ASRock Extreme6 P67 B3 is a better board,

more Power Phases for CPU 16+2 design,

more USB 3.0 connectors (4 vs 2),

more SATA3 connectors (6 vs 4)

has three PCIE slots vs two on Asus etc..

CHEERS..

Asrock is a highly durable and reasonably priced brand. Pretty much most mid range asus, asrock, and gigabyte boards will allow you to OC to 4.7+ pretty easily (w/ the h70). I was looking into the fatality board myself... its soo sexy. (Bit of a rip of the maximus IV but @ a great price)

They are strong mobos..

But if you can shop from Newegg Asus P8Z68-V Pro is 209$ and is actually cheaper than both of these P67 ASrock and Sabertooth..

And this Asus P8Z68-V Pro is well built motherboard has also 16+2 CPU power managment and 3 PCIE slots, nice set of connectors etc..

Personally that would be my bet..

CHEERS..

Yes the Extreme6 is very nice but the 4 is very close if you want to save money.

I agree with KingT. Get the P8Z68 over the others. Basically you are looking at a more advanced and mature P67 and having a P67 board now (knock on wood a good one as I haven't had issues) I would change to a Z68 without thinking twice on it.

Why not consider the Asus P8P67 PRO B3? Mine has been flawless. Also it has more features VS Sabertooth and more CPU phases (12+2 VS 8+2 in the Sabertooth). Also cheaper.
