Sidewinder has the Aquaero 5 XT in stock - Page 2

As awesome as it is... and monitoring/adjusting software to go along with it... $200 is not worth it IMO. "Maybe" I could consider $100... MAYBE... but even then I'd be hard pressed to consider it.

It's worth it to enthusiasts. Aquacomputer makes some of the finest enthusiast grade parts out there. You get what you pay for, and the quality of their components is top-notch.

Well, if you can live with not having the LCD display, just using the software for it....

The Pro version, no remote control, is only $140.

I actually looked at this and it's interesting. I figure that if you have software for control and monitor, then there's really no need for fancy gadgets in the drive bays. I am partial to simplicity. I am goint to wait and see how the reviews go once this is out.

I don't doubt it one bit and I am an enthusiast... just have other priorities (like two kids in college) I have to take care of first. I also like their "tubes" & reservoir's.

If the software will store and graph temperature and flow data from the optional temperature and flow sensors, I may get the Pro version.
I don't really need it for fan control since I already have nice control of my PWM fans.

It looks like it does. Since the software was just released beta yesterday and I don't have my loop going, I can't say for sure. But if you look at the announcement it shows a picture of the software, and does mention that there IS a logger. So, I think you're in luck.

Use google translate to convert to english:

Personally, I purchased the Pro and got a waterblock and remote for it. I liked the overall look of the Pro.

If you could... pix to get an idea of how it looks? I may just say "Frag it..." and go all out. Trick will be fooling Mrs. Kah into thinking I need it!

EDIT: Ohhh... you dl'ed the beta software. Thought you had purchased it all.

Nope, I have the Aquero mounted, just no power or water to it yet. My effing dremel died two days ago and I was close to the end of my cuts for a midplate for my case.... grrrrr. So, I have it all.... gimme a few minutes...all I have on me is my cell phone camera... I'll post pics in a sec.

OK, like I said, all I have is my cell phone camera at the moment, but you can see how it looks mounted. It's very sleek, no frills, no blaring colors or designs. Very minimalist... Which is why I love it.

Better get it quick before the world ends!
Fixed. I'm trying to decide between this and the non-touch screen version. Now that I look at it again, I'll probably get this one.
