I'd love to but I don't think Asus works like that in Holland. Searched the net for ways of Asus RMA in here, but it seems to come down to taking the card to the shop it was purchased at.

Even though I do have the receipt along with warranty the shop won't take in cards without their box/accessoires, neither of which I got with the 480.

Usually with ASUS they do NOT want anything but the card in a box. The dont want any of the original box or accessories becasue they dont want to be responsible for loosing that junk! I would give it a shot man, there is a good chance they will take it back

You cant RMA directly to Asus in Europe they just direct you to a shop you bought it from (in my case that shop went under so I have a dead Asus 4870 for a table ornament )

Yeah, I know they work serial-based and don't really need anything except the card, but I haven't been able to find any Asus-link in my language (or even anything European) that'll allow me to start the RMA-procedure.

I cannot get passed the shop it was bought at, they maintain a policy where you can't apply to any product warranty without the original packaging and all accessoires present.

They'll probably tell you to send it back to seller like they did to me but you may have better luck and actually get a RMA

is it RMA able in the states?

sell it cheap to someone state side let them deal with RMA? at least you get some money back if all your other options fail.
