MSI R6870 Twin Forzer Help!

I have finally done my first/ new computer build and I have checked all my wires etc. I turn the comp on and I am not getting a signal from the card, what do you guys think I did wrong?

Any beeps when starting up ? One shor t beep usually indicates VGA detected. 3 beep or continuous beeping indicates an issue.

are you using the Blue PCIe Slot (Closest CPU)

Any lights on the Board? My older Asus board indicates probloem areas by lighting up a led next to it so perhaps thats the case wit yours.

make sure the pci-e power plugs are connected..

PCI-E cable look like this, and would use corresponding female socket/s on GPU

You should hear one beep at start up as this indicates that all is good. If not, I would check your 24PIn and 8PIN motherboard power connectors. Make sure they are both plugged in.

Put the GPU in the First PCIe slot (closest to CPU).
