I have a 6870 and im running 5760x1080 in eyefinity. I play mostly bc2 i get 60 fps most of the times with dips to low 30 on high setting and 1x aa. If i go with another 6870 for crossfire will i be able to raise my aa? And how much increase in fps? I dont know fully understand how crossfire works, i seek words of wisdom from people of OCN.

don't expect to be turning up AA with that 1GB, stepped up to 1 6950 from two 6870 myself. the minimum frames with AA on will kill your experience. i personaly can't accept 0-2XAA so i had to make a change.

im guessing the same but im not too sure. Im thinking of just getting one to try for myself but i do not want to be dissapointed in the end. Did you happen to compare it before you got rid o the 6870s?
Im thinking of going 6950 route as well if only i had enough rep to sell my 6870 here.

Found my answer on this comparison link
Unless i go for crossfire 6950 2gb, which i dont see me doing. I wont be able to see too much gains with a single 2gb 6950 compared to 6870 crossfire. Though the review isnt directly 6950s and 6870s im thinking results wont be too different.
