I'd hold my breath on that. These CPUs, due to them being 32nn and given how the module architecture was made, will have a very modest die size. It shouldn't cost much to manufacture at all. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if the six-core FX was overall faster than the 2500K given the fact that IPC has obviously improved in comparison to Thuban and that AMD is able to price them like so due to lower manufacturing costs.
