Use jscreenfix

If that doesn't do it, take the tip of the back of a pen and gently press on that area.

A good way of testing this in Windows, move something with text over to the area with the dot and then look at the dot while moving your entire head left and right, if the dot changes location in relation to the text (or whatever you're using as a reference) it's crap behind the panel.

I have one of these specs behind my HP 24". Also I've seen a much larger one with my old I-Inc 27.5".
Doesn't move, Also have a red stuck pixel.

I'm debating on returning at this point, $980 for whatever this thing is and a completely dead red pixel.

That blob is not a pixel problem (You can clearly see it spanning over multiple colors.) Stop telling him to use pixel-fixers for the blob as it won't do anything.

And most stuck pixels can be fixed temporarily but they will usually come back eventually or when you press around the area. If you see a stuck pixel good luck fixing it permanently. I'd return it.

Only reason I'm debating and not doing it off the bat is because I ordered Amazon and REALLY don't feel like de-wallmounting this thing and waiting on shipping (I didn't see the pixel until I got home from work)

Hmm. I think I'll call them if I can't get this fixed.

try the screen saver thing. Let it run black to white as fast as possible. Let it run over night. If you make the screen brighter or darker does it fade away or stay there?

Not at all, stays the same.

I'm watching Despicable me in 3D (amazing!) but will be running some pixel restore programs when I'm sleeping.

Already tried tapping, applying pressure when turning on, massaging the area, etc. Seems to be completely stuck.

The picture I posted doesn't bother me nearly as much as the (completely) dead red pixel.

Amazon is sending a replacement overnight and is paying to ship this one back. Problem solved.

Now I just hope I have no problems with the replacement
