What exactly are you trying to achieve with this build?

Gaming?

Or specialized applications for work that can accually use this stuff?

If it's gaming then a 2600K/GTX580 3gb palit SLI (2 cards), will be fine for 2560x1600. Dual CPUS? Really? unless your folding@home, or autocad, etc.

Maybe.

That or he won 10,000 dollars and is trying to waste his money, without realising you can build a super high end system for less then 2000 dollars.

Im assuming he's already got an sr-2 sized case, if not, you forgot one. And, not to get all cryptic, but there is always a bottleneck. No matter how good a machine is, something will always perform the least well on in, and hold other components back. Therfore its a bottleneck.
