Difference between HAF 932 adv and HAF X?

Thread Starter
I'll be buying one of those two case I'm pretty sure.

That said, what's with the $35 difference? The only thing I've heard about is dust filtering but is it truly worth $30-$40? Shipping might bring the difference down but is there anything that makes the X a must have over the 932.

The x is a bit bigger than the 932

Actually the HAF X is plenty worth $40 more.

- It has 9+1 PCI slots so it can support XL ATX and quad crossfire
- Supports 4 x 200mm fans instead of 3 x 230mm
- Has 3.5" hard drive hot swap
- Dust filters
- Better cable management

the haf932 has more space up top for thicker radiators and pushpull fan setups. I personally like it better than the hafx.

edit: icejon is right though, the hafx does have superior cable management among other things. I was a bit dissapointed that the 932 came with flat side panels. My old haf 922 had more room for cable management than my old 922. But the selling point for me was the extra space at the top of the case. With the 922 I could not fit my rx240 with push fans unless mounted externally. The radiator was about 2-5mm to thick and my ram was in the way. Thats why I bought the 932, can fit thick radiators like the rx series (up to 360mm) and push pull fan setups with no problems.

I guess it just depends on what you plan on doing. If you need to fit an xl atx motherboard for quad crossfire I would go with the hafx. If you are going atx or extended atx and need enough room for an extra thick radiator and push pull fans I would go with the haf932. Also the haf932 comes with a usb3.0 front panel which can be removed to free up another 5.25 drive bay.

The haf932 also comes with a top fill port for water cooling. Not sure if the hafx comes with this or not.
