Gevey Sim unlock! Help needed

Thread Starter
I know unlocking is not a good thing but it's not illegal so I hope this thread won't get closed for such reasons, thanks!

So I was eligible to upgrade to the new white iphone 4 32gb and I want to give the phone to my cousin living outside the States. I heard and saw a lot of people having good luck with the Gevey Sim unlocking method and would like give it a try. And I have a few questions that I hope you guys will shed some light on:
1. Does the unlock stay if I remove the gevey SIM after unlocking?
2. Do I have to re-unlock every time a new sim is put in?

Thanks thumb.gif

Let be break it down for you in few words.

Gevey sim work just fine with most of the sims. I have read that some old sim cards had some problems after cutting, but might be just some isolated incident as it might be damaged in cutting it.

As of Gevey, I am with i4 4.2.1 3.10 BB and using international sim card in united states on T-Mobile. I know it is in roaming, but even better it works there as well.

As of unlocking, it unlocks 4.1, 4.2, 4.2.1, 4.3, 4.3.1, 4.3.2, 4.3.3 with baseband 1.59, 2.10, 3.10.1, 4.10.1.

1.What you have to do is insert your sim card at the same time with Gevey sim card. Unlock will not stay if you remove gevey sim card. You have to do that procedure, 112,airplane mode, etc...

2. Yes, you have to repeat procedure every time you put different sim card, and you also have to do it every time you restart your phone or shut it down when your batter y is empty.
