Yeah. Try 11.4 or 11.3 instead and see what happens. I know my old 5830 was pretty buggy with some drivers.

disable hardware acceleration, got same result. system froze up and went to basic color.

so frustrated.

if i buy a new card and this continues i am going to seriously freak out.

UPDATE:

checked ram with memtest, ZERO errors.

wiped CCC 11.5 with driver sweeper, and installed 11.4

SAME ISSUES.


come on gurus....someone give me some advice here.
this is crazy frustrating.

not impressed with Sapphire in the slightest. wow.

13000+ with a single card? not bad for a 5830. I may have to look into one of those.

A buddy of mine borrowed a Radeon HD X2400 B276 from his work so we can plug it in my machine and see if I get the same errors.

You guys think I can keep my current CCC driver (11.4) installed to run this thing, or should I downgrade? If so, downgrade to what?

issue still shows up when i swapped the radeon x2400 in the machine.

at a loss here. lol

this sucks so hard.
