What is wrong with my asus rampage iii formula

I dont know what is wrong with the board anymore.

It powers on somewhat

The q led is stuck on GPU

But the graphics card was tested working when I had it sent back to EWIZ.

Tried a no need to plug in power video card and still nothing.

Tried a different power supply

Is the motherboard the problem or perhaps the CPU?

I can feel both the heatsinks on the cpu and gpu get warm

Try returning the CPU.

I have zero experience with this motherboard.
But just from a techs point of view this seems a little rash.

anyone else have suggestions on what to do then?

You could start by going to USER CP and filling out your system components, specs, if OC'd and OS.

Then start from the begining.
Is it a new build?
Has the system ever been operational and stable?
What was the first problem you experienced that led to this?
What have you done to troubleshoot thus far?

Based on the information you provided thus far Nostradamus would shy away from this thread.

I have already tried like I said

Different:
PSU x3
GPU x3

There are only 2 other components

I did rma the mobo before and it previously had the same problem

So it leads it even more to the CPU, but it can still be the mobo

Any way you could test the CPU in a friend's mobo and then the friends CPU in your mobo?

Would be a sure fire way to find out which is broken, or if they [cringe] both are.

sadly no, none of them has anything self built if they did then it's quite old, most of them are on laptops as well
