Nice build!

Since you have a pristine setup, you may want to think about BU or ghosting your systems partition... just in case

Recommend Acronis or EASEUS Partition Manager. I use the latter and its easy as pie.

Ok, I power it up made basic BIOS changes. Mainly I change the SATA ports to AHCI for my Windows 7 install. When I startup Windows each time in the upper left corner it says "Loading Operating System" with some progression dots under it. It does that for 5-10 seconds then the Windows 7 logo forms the middle and I enter my password. Is this normal for windows 7? Vista had a logo up and the regular windows bar while it loaded.

My start menu is full of benchmark tests! You wanna actually measure how awesome your new system is, right? I have IBT (with updated Linpack), Passmark, 3DMark 11/Vantage, PCMark7, Crysis benchmark tool, Metro benchmark tool, Heaven 2.5, FRAPS, and of course monitoring software (MSI Afterburner, HWMonitor, CPU-z, GPU-z)....

Wow I was tired, I forgot to change my boot priority back after Windows install. The "Starting Operrating System" only pops up for a second now.
