Best PC Speakers $110 budget - Page 2

M-Audio AV-40 I have them and am listening to them right now and could not be more happy with them. I believe they are going for $100 shipped right now let me see if I can find that deal.

EDIT: Yep here you go, $100 shipped! Don't think just buy buy buy you will love them and I have a hard time believing you can find better speakers for $100. No seriously though feel free to do some research on them but they are really excellent especially for that price, they normally go for $150 or $120 on sale. Seeing as you mentioned that you don't need thumping really makes me think these will be perfect for you because they are studio monitors so they are designed to be accurate instead of just bassy, but they do have a bass boost if you are into that. The only thing you might need to know about them before you buy them is that positioning is important with these, they need to be pointed at your ears and at head height. I think these will be the best you can do and are excellent speakers.

EDIT 2: Aww I just noticed that that deal I linked you to is refurb. sorry I didn't notice. I've heard good things about refurbs from M-Audio but these are now just a good deal not a buy now think later deal IMO.

HAHA... whats up tweaker? How is GZ? ANyways I would recommend the M-Audio AV30's. Very very good budget (~$100) speakers! I even linked you to one on taobao.com so you cn get it easy in GZ

well at that quality both the AV-40s and Promedia's will be pretty good, but if you ever want to get into Audiophile quality sound be prepared to spend ALOT of money.

I would still suggest some nice cans in that price range, especially if they have a 10 foot cord, but if you want speakers they ones mentioned here should sound great for the price.

If you're into dubstep and electronica, you should try to find Klipsch ProMedia 2.1s for 100 on craigslist or ebay.

Yep the AV30s are good too and normally all you can get from M-Audio for that price but this deal for the AV-40s for $100 shipped is an incredible deal. Like I said they normally are $150 or $120 on sale both plus shipping, which is considerable for heavy speakers. In my opinion this deal is too good to pass up if you're in the market.

EDIT:Aww I just noticed that that deal I linked you to is refurb. sorry I didn't notice. I've heard good things about refurbs from M-Audio but these are now just a good deal not a buy now think later deal IMO. They are on sale at right now NEW, which is another good option but still not as smoking of a deal I thought I found for you.

I second a pair of M-Audio. I have mine and for the price I am quite happy with them. If you listen to dubstep and hip hop you will need some base though. They are alright with bass but a dedicated sub helps so much. I am running my AV40's with my z-2200 sub only and the satellites disconnected. It helps a lot and this setup works for me well.
