What is TMPIN2 on HWMonitor?

Thread Starter
I have an 870A-G54 mobo.

During intensive tasks it gets up to like 50C. I'm pretty sure TMPIN0 is my CPU temp, so is this the north bridge or something?

Either your northbridge, or voltage regulators. Probably vregs, no heatsink. Either way, that is a perfectly acceptable temp for either one.

on this tempin2=128c, its broken or i have a small fire on my board

its most likely your south bridge

Yeah its different for each board, but if you notice a change in temp, and dont get one of those crazy -128 readings or something, its probably NB or VRM like above post mentions, and it is reasonable temps as also mentioned. My TA890FXE was between 68-78c and that was perfectly normal.
