Laptop hard drive

Thread Starter
I've been using this hard drive in my netbook:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-371-_-Product

It used to have issues in the past with clicking, but it's been working just fine for almost a year now. Any idea how much I can get for it? I'm not really using it to the extent I thought I would, so I'm thinking of selling it and eventually replacing it with a 60-120GB SSD for my netbook to improve boot times (REALLY slow at the moment), and I figure I can have it boot off an SD card in the time being.

Might it be possible to trade for a working DS Lite maybe?

EDIT: Put up the wrong hard drive, sorry.

$40-$50, I'd say. Good luck with your sale.

Excuse me, my mistake. That's not the right hard drive.

Same price however.

i'd contact seagate and get it RMA'ed
you'll have better luck after that, RMA'ed drive i'd say $40.00
you'll have to pay the shipping to get it to seagate obviously, so it'll cost you about $6-10 dollars (depending how you ship it), so net "profit" will be like $30 or so.

Don't know anyone who'd take a ticking/clicking HDD for the risk, personally i'd only give you $15 bucks for it, to offset the RMA cost that i'll have to do to seagate.

I attempted to do that, but Seagate told me the drive was fine. In any case, I think I might switch it out with my PS3's hard drive or something, as I have no reason to believe anymore that it's about to fail on me.
