The points have already been proven, you just have to read the posts. Want me to keep repeating things to you?

The whole discussion STARTED because of Bulldozer, and AMD being 3 gen's behind if IB was available Q4 as expected. I said IB delayed is GOOD for AMD.

Conroe to Wolfdale was about 10% average. Nehalem to Westmere was about 10% average core for core.

If there is a real "20-30% increase" (i.e. a massive one) then it'll be from having two or four extra cores or its at stock clocks with IB having higher stock clocks.
Read my reply, he is implying that a 20% increase will come strictly from cores, and I beg to differ. I already explained why. The 20% increase will be core for core, clock for clock because of the 3D transistors, plus die shrink.

I mentioned Bulldozer, since this is a BD thread, and that other guy Chuckie was comparing IB being delayed to BD delayed, and saying it's ok because Intel does it too.

Comparing Ivy Bridge's delays are irrelevant to the topic at hand, because BD is coming to compete against SB, E-BD will compete against IB.

What exactly are YOU adding to this thread?

You obviously missed what i'm saying. The points HAVE been proven, the last line in your post was a shot at BD to try and stir up more crap posts. I didn't quote the entire post for a reason...

Interesting. Ok.

I wasn't trying to take a shot at BD, but merely stating the obvious.

We WERE talking about Ivy Bridge vs Bulldozer, and their delays.

IB isn't due out for like 9 months, BD was supposed to be out in 3 weeks.

We have videos of IB already running, and nothing from BD.

Doesn't that seem backwards to you? I know it makes me wonder...

Anyway, no point in discussing pointless things, all we can do is wait 2-3 months for BD to come out.

You guys need to kiss and make up.

If BD sucks, delayed, behind, it doesn't matter. AMD doesn't seem to be all that worried about it, BD can wait its their APUs that they love so much. I mean we hear all about them but BD is nowhere to be found. As much as you guys find it hard to believe selling millions of APUs to oems is much more profitable than some high end CPUs that the few enthusiast buy.

People will always say "amd is behind, will fail, blah blah blah" but I will believe it when AMD goes bankrupted. its just nonsense.

Backwards, yes. While i don't like the delay on either, it's useless to beat the subject to death. Nothing anyone says will change the release, they both will be here in their respective times. All the censored and moaning about either is pointless.

One thing is for sure, even with this delay AMD doesn't much care because at this point they've made it clear their eyes are set on Llano and the larger market it appeals to, not the upcoming Bulldozer.

Yup. AMD threads are the new Apple threads, and frankly this is getting very old.
