Win-win for us.
This is what we should be saying. The above outcome would be good for all of us. For now this thread just stinks of fanboy.

Looks like crud to me. Not worthy of the News section. Rumors section is the place for this.
Why does someone always lead off a thread with "wrong section?", who cares? If you are just worried bout the section its posted in and not the content you must be bored.

Depends what you mean by "budget". The 4 core FX is to rumored to be less than $200.

Even if its a six core, it only scored 7.37, while the 2600K scored 6.23. I'm willing to bet, that at single threaded applications, or applications that can only use a maximum of four cores, the 2600K would dominate it. Its 1.14 point lead isn't anything spectacular, and if anything, it does show that the 2600K is faster since it took 2+ extra cores just to have a 1.14 point lead.
It could be an engineering sample.I really hope so..dreaming,but hell that would be good, finding out its a 6 core at 1.8GHZ.

All the fanboy stuff on here is crazy, lol, you buy what you like.I was gonna go Sandy Bridge, but multiplier only overclocking just bores me,i like true overclocking. This is'nt just a dig at Sandy Bridge either, coz if Bulldozer is multi only then i'll probably go 1366 instead.

Its not too much of a disappointment since Bulldozer costs less than $300 being 8 cores and all.
