Ahhhh I have been thinking about moving over to an i5... My understanding is that encoding in Handbrake is pretty even (though maybe in the i5s favor when OC'd), and gaming is solidly in i5s court.

Is it worth it? I will need to buy a new cooler too I think...

EDIT: Scratch the new cooler, I guess my clips are universal on the 212. I figured I had the required clips at one point then lost them (as usual). Now I am REALLY tempted, just need that final push from someone...

Does your cooler support LGA 1156? If so, then it supports Sandy Bridge (LGA 1155).
