Mine's beside my desk, it's almost as tall as it too
post #83 of 91
At the moment, it's on a small wooden stand beneath my desk (not directly on the floor).

I'd love to put it on top, but there's just no room on the desk with my 3 monitors and speakers (plus the edge of my half-custom-built desk can't hold too much weight without flexing). I just got a new case with a side panel window and it would be easier to show it off that way.

Top. Have a custom built cabinet that is exact height as my desk. Perfect width and shelves inside for cd's and stuff. Plus I have to agree with all the other desktop posters here, I didn't buy a windowed case to tuck it under something where no-one can appreciate my hard work on her. She's too pretty not to show off

Top. I'm always reaching for it to put in some sort of removable disk anyway, and it's easier to reach on top. I have one of those borderline indestructible desks from the 1980s, and don't have to worry about the fact it weighs 40 pounds. I have a 60-pound 21" CRT on top, too.

Bottom of the desk now. Redecorated the room and my new desk is long but isnt too wide.

Im beginning to like the spartan look of the new desk - monitor, keyboard, mouse (and mat) & the speakers. Ill be wall mounting the speakers next
