Is there any major difference regarding OC'ing? Or its just the SSD Caching and Virtual graphics etc?confused.gif

I was getting the P67A-GD65 V2 but I saw the new Z68 chipsets and figure thats better ask you guys first since I don't have any experience about mobo's.

PS: I was hoping to get into 5ghz club =P

Shouldn't have any impact on OC, all other things being equal.

Thanks for answering Traches.
Regarding the Gig mobo's since you have one. How yours P67 performs under heavy oc?

Performs great, I think some of the best sandy bridge overclocks have happened on gigabyte's P67 boards. My only complaint is a lack of on/off/clear cmos buttons on the mobo.

I've only taken it to just over 5.0 though, don't know if that qualifies as a heavy OC on this processor.

Edit- Gigi's boards have excellent VRM, which is why I chose this one. Most other P67 boards have a point and click bios though; this one's a traditional bios but I've heard that it could support it in the future if gigabyte puts out the update.

I'm not sure, I've heard mostly good things about gigabyte's P67 boards, and I'm pretty happy with mine. The MSI board is probably good as well; just get the board that's in your price range, has all the features you want without too many you don't, and looks the best. cool.gif
